The Other Frankenstein is out in print now! Here are answers to some of the questions I’ve been getting.
Is this related to your other books?
Nope! The Other Frankenstein is a literary horror novel and a loose sequel to Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. It’s got a very different tone from my urban fantasy novels.
A sequel? Does that mean I need to read Frankenstein to know what’s going on?
Not at all (although it’s a great book, and still very relevant). The Other Frankenstein has a handful of Easter eggs to the original novel that are fun if you’re familiar with it, but it’s not necessary to know Shelley’s book to enjoy the story. If you know that young Victor Frankenstein created a monster out of miscellaneous body parts and the monster killed Victor’s wife, Elizabeth, on their wedding night, you’re set. However, if you want to pick up the Easter eggs, you could read the plot summary on Wikipedia.
Will The Other Frankenstein be available as an audiobook?
Yes! The audiobook will be released on December 23rd!
